Ship Inn, South Brisbane

Run 1At the Southern end of South Bank in South Brisbane. Near where Dock St meets Vulture Street. The Run is out and back along Coronation Drive to Guyet Park in St. Lucia. It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Slower runners cut this shorter.
Summer only, so we can swim at Southbank at the end of run. A few variations have been developed at this venue. One over Dutton Park and return via Stones Corner. Another under the Cliffs, over the Story Bridge and down to the Powerhouse at New Farm, then return.Runs 1A and !B

This run has been superseded by the Southbank run

Wilston

Run 2Upper Kedron Brook Road, Wilston.
Park outside Cafe de Vita. Run is along various bike paths, creek, parks. Plenty of green, few streets.  About 1 hour.
Hare: Catgut

Caffe di Moda, 405 Logan Road, Stones Corner

In the Main Shopping Area. Parking out front is possible at that hour or in the next street parallel to Logan Road, near the creek. 
We have 2 different Runs here Run 4 East Brisbane/W'Gabba.
Follows bike track towards East Brisbane along Norman Creek. into Norman Park, on to Wynnum Road to Dock Side via Mowbray Park. then around Kangaroo Point, under the Cliffs, up the Freeway Bike track to O'Keeffe St in Buranda, and back into Stones Corner. A flat scenic course, very little of busy streets. About 1 hour 5 mins
Hares: Craft and Layup Run 5 Tarragindi, Yeronga Fairfield
The run follows the bike track towards  Weller's Hill then deviates right along Sandy Creek, up the hill towards Tarragindi Reservoir. Then Down a green belt connecting to Yeronga Park. across Fairfield road, past the RSPCA to Brisbane Corso. follow the Corso to the Cemetery then up via the cemetery to Cornwall Street, back to the original bike track at Stones Corner, then home
Hare Layup.

Indooroopilly Road, St. Lucia

Run 6 St Lucia Golf Club
Use Golf Club car park.
Run along Lambert Avenue, over the foot bridge, right to Laurel avenue and along back streets, past stately old homes to Sherwood forest Park. Return same route.
Hare: Layup

Breakfast at the 100 Acre Bar, beautiful breakfast location over looking golf links..

Run 7, Coffee Club KenmoreThrough the back roads of Kenmore and Kenmore Hlls. Green ri\olling hills, birds, creeks no traffic. Good clean air.Hares: Heckle and Jeckle

Second run with added distance was good. Well spaced drink stops.fisrt run, rated V. Good but too short.

Run 8, Coffee Club The Gap Hares: Chardarse and Bookworm  
A run taking in lots of bike tracks, along creek beds, through Parks. Plenty f trees and shade. A few  hills. Lots of bird life. A real Nature Run.

At the Coffee Club. Park off Waterworks road round the back of the Coffee Club. As Cofee Clubs go, a good one.

Run 10 Coffee Club Mt GravattHare: RadarRun up over Mt Gravatt. It is a bit hilly. Under Freeway and into the Toohey Forest and Griffith University area. Good forest tracks. A few hills but pleasant.The walk is a subset of the run.

Southbank

 

Run 11 South Bank, venue advised beforehand

Gets varied from time to time. Can go over Dutton Park or around the river to Newfarm Park. A few other variations from time to time. down to newfarm and the Powerhouse via the floating walkway.

Yeronga Train Run

Salisbury for the walk; and

Coopers Plains for the run. (Fare $2.60)

Return via a green route over Toohey Forest. Scenic.

Manly Bayside Run
